i-vox is video diary room or video booth ver similar in
concept to the one used on the X Factor.
It is a new and unique concept in capturing comments, vox-pops,
and feedback on video
without the need for a big camera crew, but in better
quality than the usual home movie camera.
It
comprises of a 1.2mx1.8m soundproofed room that comes
apart for easy transportation
inside which is a camera, some lights, a chromakey
background and a microphone. |
Participants
enter the room, which is air-conditioned, and the camera
starts recording. They settle themselves down on the
gas-lift stool and start speaking. When they are finished
they exit the room.
An edit suite can also form part of this, so the captured
comments can also be edited and played back the same day,
and even made into a DVD marketing tool.
